This short course will give current users of CODE V an opportunity to learn about and practice using a number of advanced topics and specialized techniques. You will learn how to solve current problems more effectively and discover new applications for
Agenda
Seminar attendees will be CODE V users with varying interests and experience levels. Thus, a flexible, informal, and wide-ranging format will be used, which will include presentations on all topics, computer demonstrations, hands-on exercises, informal discussions, and workshops.

Classes are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., except on the last day when class ends at 4:30 p.m. Hands-on workshops are held throughout the day. One computer will be provided for each attendee. Attendees wishing to work independently are welcome to bring their own laptop and will receive a $300 discount on their registration.

Registration and Fees
The fee for this short course is $1,500 ($1,200 for attendees who provide their own laptop computers). This includes instruction, computer resources, course notes, and refreshments.
Attendance is limited. Pre-registration with payment must be made at least three weeks before the start of the courses. The fee is refundable up to that point. (A $200 fee is charged for later cancellations.)

Course Instructors
Mary Kate Crawford, Ph.D. is a Systems Engineer/Technical Consultant in Customer Service. Dr. Crawford provides technical support for both LightTools and CODE V and has over 10 years optical design experience.
John Isenberg is a Senior Systems Engineer/Technical Consultant in Customer Service. He has over 30 years of optical design experience with CODE V, and has developed mathematical models used in CODE V and separate programs.
Weimin Shi, Ph.D., is a Senior Systems Engineer in Customer Service and provides technical support for CODE V. Dr. Shi has over 25 years experience in optical design and analysis.
Craig Pansing is an optical engineer with several years of experience. He provides technical support for CODE V and LightTools.
