2012 CODE V User Group Presentations Are Available for Download

Every year, Synopsys’ Optical Solutions Group hosts a free User Group day for current CODE V users. You’ll typically hear about software updates, recent developments in the latest lens design techniques, and lots of discussion on how to use CODE V tools for a variety of tasks. These events are informative for both the beginning and experienced CODE V user, and a great place to network with OSG staff and other CODE V users in your region.

The 2012 edition of the User Group meeting was held this past June in Pasadena, CA, Mountain View, CA, and Rochester, NY. If you weren’t able to attend one of the meetings, we’ve uploaded the talks to the Customer Support Portal so you can benefit from this year’s topics. CODE V Glass Catalog Updates Available for Download

Updates to the CODE V glass catalog, including the CDGM, Hikari, Hoya, Ohara, Schott, and Sumita manufacturers' catalogs, are now available for download from www.opticalres.com. In addition to download links, we have included more details about the glasses affected by this update and installation instructions.

Windows XP64 Support To Be Discontinued in CODE V 10.5

CODE V will no longer support Windows XP64 beginning with version 10.5, currently scheduled for release in late 2012. If you have any questions, please contact ora_support@synopsys.com.
